With Allegris, Lufthansa introduced a completely redesigned cabin concept for long-haul flights in the summer of 2024. The Allegris cabin has been flying around the world from Munich in the Airbus A350-900 for over a year and a half, and since October 2025, Allegris has also been flying from Frankfurt in brand-new Boeing 787-9 aircraft. Availability: Seats are now open for booking on select Lufthansa Boeing 787-9 flights. Design Features: - Sleek, modern cabin layout with direct aisle access for every passenger. - Configurable seating options (extra-long beds, privacy-focused suites, or spacious single seats). - Enhanced in-flight entertainment and connectivity. - Refined lighting and cabin ambiance designed to reduce fatigue on long-haul journeys. Strategic Impact - Marks the next phase of Lufthansa’s Allegris cabin concept, which is being introduced across long-haul aircraft including the Airbus A350 and Boeing 787 fleets. - Reinforces Lufthansa’s premium positioning, competing directly with other European and Middle Eastern carriers offering next-generation business class products. - Provides travelers with more choice and personalization, a key differentiator in the premium travel market. This is a significant milestone because Lufthansa is one of the first European airlines to offer such a customizable business class experience across its fleet.
