Expanded Options: Flight searches on either airline’s platform will now show itineraries from both carriers, making planning more seamless. Vacation Packages: United flights are now available through JetBlue Vacations (Flight + Hotel), with cruise packages coming soon. Benefits for Travelers - Access JetBlue’s leisure-focused network and United’s global footprint in one place. - More transparency in loyalty redemption value. - Bucket-list destinations (Japan, Brazil, Italy, Greece, etc.) now accessible to JetBlue Vacations customers via United’s network. What’s Coming Next - Reciprocal perks (spring 2026): priority boarding, preferred seating, extra legroom, same-day changes, and standby. - MileagePlus Travel → Paisly (later in 2026): expanded booking for hotels, rental cars, cruises, and insurance. - United’s JFK growth: JetBlue will provide United access to slots for up to seven daily roundtrips at JFK’s new Terminal 6 (expected 2027). Leadership Voices - Andrew Nocella (United EVP & CCO): Blue Sky gives customers more choice and flexibility with cash, miles, or points. - Marty St. George (JetBlue President): Collaboration expands loyalty earning/redemption and opens exciting destinations worldwide. Takeaway This marks a major milestone in the Blue Sky partnership: moving beyond loyalty integration into full sales collaboration, giving travelers more freedom, flexibility, and access to both airlines’ strengths.
