Delhi Aerocity Metro station on the Airport Express Line to become a major interchange hub

Delhi Aerocity Metro Station on the Airport Express Line is being expanded under Phase IV of the Delhi Metro project to become a major interchange hub, connecting the Airport Express Line, the Tughlakabad–Aerocity Golden Line, and eventually the NCRTC corridor to Alwar. This will significantly improve airport access and south Delhi connectivity.

- Phase IV Expansion: Aerocity will link with the Tughlakabad–Aerocity Golden Line (Silver Line), enhancing east–south connectivity.
- Direct Airport Access: A 2.26 km extension from Aerocity to Terminal 1 IGI Airport station (Magenta Line) has been approved, allowing passengers from areas like Tughlaqabad, Ambedkar Nagar, and Khanpur to reach Terminal 1 directly without multiple interchanges.
