KMB-2025: When women weave stories from the heart on rugs
Each handmade Manchaha (from the heart) rug hanging on the wall and adorning the floor in ABC Art Room, Bastion Bungalow, Fort Kochi has a story to say. Theme & Focus - The exhibition highlights women artisans and artists who weave rugs not just as functional objects but as storytelling canvases. - Each rug embodies personal narratives, cultural memory, and emotional landscapes, turning textile into a medium of lived experience.
