Vietjet increases nearly 1,800 flights to serve the peak Tet holiday season of 2026

In anticipation of a surge in travel demand during the 2026 Lunar New Year holiday, Vietjet is offering an additional 390,000 seats, equivalent to nearly 1,800 extra flights, for the peak period from February 2 to March 3, 2026 (corresponding to 15/12 to 15/1 on the lunar calendar).

Focus routes:
The additional flights will mainly cover high-demand domestic routes such as:
- Ho Chi Minh City ↔ Hanoi
- Ho Chi Minh City ↔ Da Nang
- Ho Chi Minh City ↔ Thanh Hoa, Vinh, Chu Lai, Hai Phong, Hue, Quy Nhon, Dong Hoi.

Purpose:
To ease congestion and meet the surge in demand for family reunions, holiday visits, and early spring travel.

Travelers are encouraged to book early and use online check-in within 24 hours before departure (via Vietjet’s website, app, or VNeID) to save time at airports.

Service expansion:
Vietjet is also expanding its fleet, strengthening staffing at airports, and enhancing both domestic and international routes to ensure safe and convenient journeys.
