Virgin Atlantic Announces New Leadership Team Line Up

Suzanne Roddie – Chief Operating Officer
Oversees all flying and ground operations, including safety, engineering, airports, and crew logistics. She previously led Airports & Network Operations and was instrumental in restarting operations post-pandemic.

Juha Jaervinen – Chief Customer Officer
Responsible for customer experience, brand, loyalty, communications, and inflight services. Formerly Chief Commercial Officer, with prior senior roles at Finnair and SAS.

Becky Woodmansee – Chief People Officer
Leads the airline’s people strategy, covering reward, talent, performance, and employee relations. Previously People Director at Premier Inn & Restaurants, overseeing 37,000 employees.

Dave Geer – Chief Commercial Officer
Heads sales, network, revenue management, e-commerce, and Virgin Atlantic Holidays & Cargo. Promoted from SVP Operations, with extensive commercial leadership experience.

Ansar Hussain – Interim Chief Financial Officer
Ansar has taken on responsibility for Corporate Finance, Financial Planning, Finance Operations, Procurement, Fleet and Internal Audit as Chief Financial Officer on an interim basis.

Holly Boyd-Boland – SVP Corporate Development & Legal Affairs
Expands remit to include legal affairs and company secretariat, alongside strategy, sustainability, and government affairs. Former competition lawyer at Herbert Smith Freehills.

Chief Digital & Information Officer – Recruitment Underway
A new role combining technology, digital development, AI, and transformation to accelerate innovation.
