- Flight operations to 10 major cities—including Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Kolkata—will begin within 45 days of the inauguration.
- Airlines in talks: IndiGo and Air India Express are expected to kick off services.
- Connectivity: The airport will be linked by six major roads, a rapid rail-cum-metro system, and even pod taxis.
- Tech & Comfort: Free Wi-Fi and libraries will be introduced at airports nationwide, including Jewar.
- Runway trials: Successfully conducted with a commercial aircraft landing on December 9, 2024.
