IndiGo and AEGEAN Airlines Sign MoU for Strategic Codeshare Partnership

On 15 September 2025, IndiGo and AEGEAN Airlines announced a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a codeshare partnership, aiming to enhance connectivity between India, Greece, and broader Europe.

What This Partnership Means:
- Mutual Codeshare:
- AEGEAN’s flight code “A3” will be added to many destinations across IndiGo’s domestic and South Asian network.
- IndiGo’s “6E” code will appear on AEGEAN’s domestic and European routes from Athens International Airport.

- Enhanced convenience for passengers traveling between India and Europe

Expansion Plans:

- Launching six weekly direct flights to Athens starting January 2026
- AEGEAN:
- Introducing five weekly flights to Delhi and three weekly flights to Mumbai by March 2026
