Items Prohibited on Trains During Diwali 1. Firecrackers – Highly flammable and pose serious fire hazards. 2. Gas Cylinders – Pressurized containers that can explode under heat or impact. 3. Inflammable Liquids – Includes substances like kerosene or petrol. 4. Explosives – Any material that can detonate or cause harm. 5. Stoves – Especially those using kerosene or gas, due to combustion risks. 6. Any other hazardous material – Items that can endanger passengers or railway property. Additional Safety Measures - Holding areas have been set up at major stations like New Delhi, Bandra Terminus, Udhna, and Surat to manage festive crowds. - Enhanced security checks and surveillance will be in place throughout the holiday season. Passengers are encouraged to cooperate with railway authorities and follow these guidelines to ensure a safe and joyful Diwali journey.
