DGCA begins auto-generation of computer numbers for flight crew through Pariksha website
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has launched a new initiative to streamline the application process for flight crew candidates by introducing auto-generation of computer numbers through its Pariksha website, effective from October 16, 2025. Key Features of the Initiative: - Automatic Allotment: Computer numbers are now automatically assigned upon successful submission of the online application, based on eligibility criteria. - DigiLocker Integration: The system uses DigiLocker to verify 10th and 12th grade certificates, eliminating manual document submission and verification. - Phased Implementation: - Phase I: Applies to candidates who passed 10th and 12th from the CBSE Board. - Future Phases: Will include other recognized boards with DigiLocker-linked certificates. Goals: - Enhance ease of doing business - Digitize aviation regulatory processes - Improve efficiency and transparency in flight crew certification This move marks a significant step in modernizing aviation administration in India.
