Here’s a quick rundown of the special transport services planned in Mumbai for New Year’s Eve 2025–26 Mumbai Metro - Metro 3 (Aqua Line) will run all-night services. - Extended night service begins 10:30 pm on Dec 31 and continues until 5:55 am on Jan 1. - Regular metro services resume from 5:55 am onwards. Railways - Central Railway (CR): 4 extra services - 2 on the Main Line (CSMT ↔ Kalyan) - 2 on the Harbour Line (CSMT ↔ Panvel) - Western Railway (WR): 4 supplementary services in both directions (Churchgate ↔ Virar). - Extra services will be adjusted based on crowd levels. - Additional GRP & RPF personnel deployed at busy stations like Churchgate, Marine Lines, Charni Road, CSMT, Dadar, and Bandra.
